"A Season with the Hunt"

'A Season with the hunt' is a documentation of the Southdown and Eridge Foxhounds during the
2008/09 hunting season. Flowing through the book we are entertained by the meet, the landscape,
the hunting and the faces behind the hunt. Stunning panoramic photographs are contrasted with
finer detail images whilst the bond between hunting and the countryside shines through.

Presented in a soft-cover square format the 120 page photographic book is a beautiful addition to
any coffee table or bookshelf. Traditional in its design the monochrome images are allowed to
present themselves individually and reflect the true essence of hunting in the English countryside.

"The pictures of the mounted field in action are second to none, but the best of all,
to my mind, are the superb photographs of the Southdown and Eridge hounds.
The lovely fluid action of the modern foxhound is captured in a series of images,
as well as hounds rolling, jumping, hunting as a pack in full cry,
or merely looking impatient at the meet.

This is a charming portrayal of a year in the life of a Hunt and all the
more unique in that it was operating under the restrictions of the Hunting Act."
